Biography
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in the University of Valencia in 1985. She specialized in Nephrology in the teaching unit in Bellvitge Hospital, “Príncipes de España”, Hospitalet de Llobregat in Barcelona in 1993. Member of the Catalan Society of Nephrologists, Catalan Society of Hypertension, Spanish Society of Hypertension, European Renal Association, European Dialysis and Transplant Association and American Society of Nephrology. She is also part of the Glomerular Diseases Group of the Spanish Society of Nephrology. She actively partakes in multiple multicenter studies, and also works as a teacher for family doctors in the making. Nowadays she is the Chief of the Nephrology and Hemodialysis Service in the Costa Brava Hospital, leading a team of 3 specialized physicians.
