Jordi Martinez Roldan

Biography

 Jordi Martínez Roldán was born in Barcelona in 1967. With a degree in Medicine and Surgery from UAB, he worked for five years as a general practitioner in both primary and specialised care. Since then, he has led different technological innovation and ICT development teams and projects in the health system. He was director of the El Baix Penedès Regional Hospital and later of the Hospital General de Catalunya. He is an expert in clinical management, the treatment of chronic patients, health quality, process management, comprehensive care and related technologies. He has an Executive Master's in Healthcare Organization Management. He has been a consultant to companies throughout the value chain in areas related to healthcare and new technologies. He currently runs the Innovation Department at the TicSalut Foundation, with the goal of making the Catalan health system a model for other European health systems.
