Biography
He is a Doctor in Medicine (PhD) from the Univeritat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and has a Master of Science (MSc) in Evidence Based Health Care from the University of Oxford. At the professional level, Josep Maria has been an international consultant in Latin America for the European Union and the German Agency for Cooperation. Josep Maria has developed different positions in the Catalan Health Service, being between 2008 and 2012, Manager of Planning, Purchasing and Evaluation of the Catalan Health Service. Since September 2012, Josep Maria is the CEO of the Catalan Agency for Quality and Assessment in Health (AQuAS).
