Biography
A physicist and Professor of Electronics at the University of Barcelona, Josep Samitier is associate director of the Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, coordinator of the Spanish Nanomedicine Platform and member of the nanotechnology networks NanoSpain, the European network Phantom, and Nano2life. He was deputy director of the Barcelona Science Park and coordinated the Innovation and Technology Transfer policy with the group's entities in the University of Barcelona.
