Biography
A doctor specializing in Intensive Medicine, a consultant at the Critical Care Centre of the Parc Taulí Hospital and director of Research and Innovation at the Parc Taulí Health Corporation, as well as director of the Parc Taulí¿University Institute Foundation at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). He is head of Group 33 of the CIBER of Respiratory Diseases at the Carlos III Institute of Health and coordinator of the Development and Technology Transfer Platform (PDTT-CIBERES). Dr Blanch is a member of various editorial committees and a regular reviewer of the most prestigious journals in his field. He is currently also president-elect of the Spanish Society of Intensive Medicine, SEMICYUC.
