Biography
A neurosurgeon with a global executive MBA from IESE, Lluís Pareras is director of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology at the Barcelona Medical Association which is dedicated to investing in and nurturing start-ups in the healthcare sector. He is the director of the venture capital fund HealthEquity, which invests in this sector. He has written numerous books on innovation and investment in the healthcare sector, the most recent one being Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Healthcare Sector.
