Biography
Dr Antonio Jimeno Yepes is senior researcher in brain inspired computing and text analytics in the Healthcare Group at IBM Research in Melbourne. He previously worked as software engineer at CERN from 2000 to 2006, as software engineer at the European Bioinformatics Institute from 2006 to 2010, as researcher at the U.S. National Library of Medicine from 2010 to 2012, as researcher at National ICT Australia from 2012 to 2014 and at the University of Melbourne in the CIS department in 2014. He received his M.S. in Computer Science in 2001, M.S. in Intelligent Systems in 2008, and PhD in Computer Science from the University Jaume I in 2009, Spain.
