José Ramón Azanza Perea

Biography

    Bachelor (1978) and Doctor (1988) in Medicine and Surgery by the University of Navarra. Specialist in Internal Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology (1982) at the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. He is currently Director of the Pharmacology Service and Clinical Director of the Pharmacology Research Unit of the Clínica Universidad de Navarra. Medical Coordinator of the Central Clinical Trials Unit. Research Areas   He has conducted more than 100 clinical trials, as a collaborative researcher, mainly in Phase I, in healthy volunteers, and in Phase III, in patients. Member of the Editorial Board of: Spanish Journal of Chemotherapy Spanish Journal of Microbiology Chronic anti-infectious The Global Member of the Scientific Committee: Journal of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra Member of the Advisory Board of: Global Pharmaceutical Market Advances in Pharmacy. Advanced Research in Pharmacy and Pharmacolog ACTIVITY As a teacher Professor of Experimental Pharmacology (3rd year) and Clinical Pharmacology (6th year) in the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Navarra and Clinical Pharmacology at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Navarra.  He has the certificate of professor contracted doctor and professor of private university (2006) by the ANECA. Positive evaluation of ANECA as Full Professor of the University of Health Sciences (2010). Advisory Committee of CNEAI (National Evaluation Commission for Research Activity). Positive assessment of 3 sexennia (1991-2000, 2001-2006 and 2007-2012). As researcher He has published more than 321 scientific articles in national and international journals and has presented some 109 papers in national and international medical congresses. He has also published 37 books and 119 chapters of books written in collaboration.
