Biography
Alice Rose Bryer has a Ph.D. in Social Anthropology from the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on creativity and learning in organizations and institutions, and the social, political roles of accounting. She has conducted field studies of the empresas recuperadas in Argentina and is currently studying worker cooperatives and grass roots institutions in Barcelona, Spain. Alice has published work in journals such as Accounting, Organizations and Society; Critical perspectives on Accounting; and Critical Perspectives on Anthropology. She has also worked on White Papers on the Social Economy for the Spanish Parliament.
