Biography
Camilo García has taught Design Studio Thesis at the Universidad Europea de Madrid and has been assistant professor at the Masters in Advanced Architecture MPAA, UPM ETSAM, Madrid. He is a partner and principal in Husos together with Diego Barajas, a practice of architecture and urbanism. Husos has received numerous international distinctions; the project GBHNPCB receives “honorable mention” in the Zumtobel Group Award for Sustainability and Humanity in the Built Environment from Austria. Their work has been featured at events such as the Experimental Architecture Exhibition at the 11th Architecture Venice Biennale in 2008 or the Rotterdam Biennale in 2009. Their work has been published in magazines and books such as 2G Dossier, AV, Abitare, Domus, Arquitectos or Spacecraft, among others. He has taught and lectured at universities such as the ETSAM, UIMP, UBA Buenos Aires, Cape Town University, and the Cervantes Institute in Manchester, Bucharest and Madrid among others.
