Biography
A practicing attorney since 1979. Partner in the Armero Firm since 1990 and partner at Uría Menéndez since 1999 until 2009. In her professional life, she has focused her activities on Commercial Law, particularly in the field of Mergers and Purchases, specifically in cross-border mergers. Since June of 2009, she is a member of the Board of Administrators for Mutua Madrileña, the Auditing and Fulfillment Commission and the Delegate Investments Commission, as well as the Board of Administrators for some of their subsidiaries. In the same fashion, since November of 2012 she has been a member, as an independent administrator, of Cemex Latam Holdings, S.A.’s Board of Administrators, a company on the Colombian stock market, and Secretary of the Auditing Commission, President of the Corporate and Vocal Government Commission and the Commission for Appointments and Retributions for this Company. She is also Vice President on the Board of Trustees for the Mutua Madrileña Foundation, a member of the assessment board for the Exit Foundation and PILnet’s Pro Bono Committee, and she forms part of the Committee for Social Corporate Responsibility for CCBE (Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe).
