Ignacio MarÍn

Biography

Ignacio Marín García graduated in Economics (2004) and Law (2006) from Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain). He also obtained his LLM at Columbia Law School (New York, US) and he is admitted to practice law in the state of New York (New York Bar Exam, 2011). He obtained his PhD in Law at Pompeu Fabra University (2016), being awarded his doctoral dissertation on comparative contract law with the distinction Cum Laude (2016). In his PhD research, he joined as visiting scholar Cornell Law School (New York, US, 2009), and as visiting fellow the Institute of European and Comparative Law (Oxford, UK, 2010). He began his professional career as associate attorney in Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira in the restructuring and insolvency team in the Barcelona office (2011). Currently, he is in the litigation and arbitration team in Madrid office, practicing in commercial litigation and providing legal advice on contract and corporate law.
