Biography
Graduated in Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid she also holds a LL.M in European and Competition Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid where she received the Luis Vives award, which is granted by the European Parliament to the best student of the LL.M. She obtained her Ph.D. in Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid under the supervision of Professor Antonio Remiro Brotóns with Summa Cum Laude (Universal jurisdiction subjected to international crimes. Its application in Spain). She has professional experience at Spanish and foreign organizations and foundations in charge of giving legal advice to procedures related to severe violations of human rights. She obtained grants that have allowed her to carry out several courses about International Criminal Law in foreign universities, such as the University of Uppsala and Salzburg. Nowadays, she is teaching the following subjects in several universities: Public International Law, Private International Law, European Law, Human Rights and International Business Law.
