Biography
Jesús Loma studied Law and Business Administration in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and holds a Diploma in English Law from University of Kent at Canterbury and a Master in the Executive Program in Business Law for Garrigues lawyers by the Harvard School of Law and Centro de Estudios Garrigues. He practices as an attorney since 2008, at Garrigues as a Junior lawyer and in Herbert Smith as an Associate from 2008 to 2014, and nowadays as a founding partner in Elizalde & Barrie SLP. He has acted in comercial litigation and arbitration proceedings in the infrastructure, financial, intelectual property and sports sector in Spain and India. He has co-authored the book “Late payment of the Spanish Public Administration”, Ed. Aranzadi, 2012; as well as some set of publications edited by Herbert Smith LLP on 2012 and 2014 called “The long arm of regulation: Responding to cross-border financial services investigations”.
