Biography
Juan Velázquez currently holds the position of Director of the Legal Department of Orange Spain. Bachelor in Law Degree and Postgraduate in Business Administration in the Universidad de Deusto, where he also attended doctoral courses. He was previously Secretary General of the Board of Directors in Unidad Editorial, worked in the legal department of Iberduero and Iberdrola until 2006. He has made several postgraduate international arbitration, competition law in the EU, Telecommunications Law, “Corporate Finance”, and tax law, and was from 2000 to 2003 Associate Professor at the University Carlos III of Madrid, in the area Private International Law for the subjects “Community freedoms” and “Private International Law”.
