Biography
Laura Martínez de Guereñu has been teaching at IE Universitu since the year 2008. She has been a Lecturer at La Salle-Ramon Llull University (2006-2008), a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University (2004-2006), and a Teaching Fellow at University of Navarra (1998-2003). From 1996 to 2001 she worked as an architect at Francisco Mangado’s office in Pamplona and she currently combines her research and her independent professional practice in Madrid. She has published several articles in academic journals (Massilia. Annuaire d’Etudes Corbuseennes, RA. Revista de Arquitectura, EAR. URV) and has presented the outcome of her research, besides the United States and Spain, in different countries such as United Kingdom, Italy, or France. She is the editor of Rafael Moneo: Remarks on 21 Works (The Monacelli Press, Nueva York, 2010)/ Rafael Moneo. Apuntes sobre 21 obras (Gustavo Gili, Barcelona, 2010). She explores themes of design narratives and social engagement of architecture.
