Biography
Marta Landazabal holds a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture (1994), Master in Urban Planning & Design (2006), and has 15 years work experience based predominantly in Spain, Britain, Middle East and Asia. She has worked in studios such ACLA,/Hyder Consulting Hong Kong and Broadway Malyan Architects Madrid as associate and head of the Landscape and Urban Planning department, coordinating an urban planning and design team based in Madrid and Buenos Aires; as well as working on large scale urban developments and international masterplanning projects. At a national level she has worked in emblematic projects such as Real Madrid New Sporting City, Urbanization of Ciudad Parque Valdebebas and Cuatro Torres Business Plaza. As a professor she has taught in various universities in Spain, as well as in Asia. Her interest focuses in sustainable planning and design, green economy and its application to landscape ecology.
