Biography
Pedro Iglesias received his PhD from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and obtained the best Thesis Award. Author of “La habitación del efermo: Ciencia y Arquitectura en los hospitales del movimiento moderno” published by Fundación Arquia. His current research interest is the relation between science and form which has led him to serveral climate change research projects. He has taught at graduate and undergraduate levels at the Universidade da Coruña, Universidad de Valladolid and Universidad Europea, and has taken part on the Summer Sessions of the Department of Architecture of the University of California, Berkley. His career as an architect has developed mainly in the field of transformation of modern and historical buildings, having received twice the Award of the City of Madrid and the Silver Medal of Miami Beach interior design.
