Biography
Sara Hernández Velasco got her Bachelor in Architecture and her Master from the School of Architecture of Madrid, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (ES), where she is currently developing her Thesis. Her research focuses on international relations of Spanish architecture in the period between the World Wars. She has collaborated with several architects throughout her career, such as P. Feduchi, B.Moneo o Gil Nagel Arquitectos, developing construction projects and architectural contests. Nowadays, she runs her own office. Some of the buildings she has designed and built have been selected and published by the Fundación COAM in the Ciclo Obra Reciente 2003-2005. Her interests in architecture not only focus on construction design, but also on furniture design. She has worked in this area on several occasions.
