Biography
Soledad Atienza is the Director of the Bachelor of Laws program (LL.B.) and the Vice Dean of International Relations at IE University. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (IE University), an Executive MBA (IE Business School, Spain), a Bachelor of Laws (Universidad CEU San Pablo, Spain), “ZertifiKat über Europäische Studien” (Europa Institut, Universität des Saarlandes, Germany), and was a visiting student at Cornell University (USA). Ms. Atienza holds a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from IE University specializing in the area of comparative legal education for lawyers which led her to write the book: “Enseñar Derecho ¿Puede servirnos la experiencia de Estados Unidos?”. Prior to working at IE Univerisity, she practiced law at the PEREZ-LLORCA law firm for five years. Soledad is currently Senior Advisor to the Academic and Professional Development Committee of the IBA (International Bar Association) and co-director of the PEREZ-LLORCA / IE Chair for Commercial Law.
