Biography
Antonio Baldi received the BS degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1996, and the doctoral degree on Electronics Engineering from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 2001. From 2001 to 2003 he was at the University of Minnesota, working in the field of bioMEMS as a postdoctoral fellow. In the summer of 2003 he joined the Chemical Transducers Group at the Instituto de Microelectriónica de Barcelona (IMB-CNM), belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas of Spain, where he works as a scientist. His research interests include electrochemical transducers and lab-on-a-chip devices for chemical sensing and biodetection, RFID wireless sensors, and soft nanolithography.
