Research Interest
Improvement of legumes for disease resistance. The beans are the crop in which I have focused mainly, with attention to different pathogens, but especially to Botrytis fabae. My work includes the identification of genotypes of interest, through the characterization of plant / pathogen interaction, and the production of varieties with different degrees of resistance. This entails the integration of different experimental techniques, such as field trials, experiments under controlled conditions or the use of molecular tools
