Research Interest
my research focuses on resistance to biotic stresses in legumes (particularly pea to the biotrophic fungus Uromyces pisi ). To this end, field and phytopathological evaluations must be combined under controlled conditions, macro and microscopic characterization of operative resistance mechanisms, use of molecular methods for mapping segregant populations, study of the expression profile of genes involved in the resistance and its quantification.
