Research Interest
Development of models of quantitative epidemiology that facilitate the prediction of diseases and the design of efficient control measures. Spatial and temporal dynamics of epidemics. Impact of climate change on the geographical distribution of phytopathogenic agents, their life cycles, and the epidemics they cause. Development of decision support systems for the integrated management of crop diseases. Detection, monitoring and quantification of diseases through remote sensing.
