Biography
The main diseases I work with are ascoquitosis ( Didymella pinodes ), oidium ( Erysiphe pisi ) and jopo ( Orobanche crenata ). Another line of recent research is the identification of mechanisms of pathogenicity in ascoquitas.
Research Interest
My line of research focuses on improving legumes for disease resistance, mainly pea. My studies encompass classical improvement, marker-assisted improvement, and the identification of resistance mechanisms at the molecular and cellular levels through transcriptomic and histological studies.
