Biography
am Professor of Microbiology and Director of the Spanish Type Culture Collection at the University of Valencia. I obtained the Degree of Licencitaura in Biological Sciences in 1987 and the Degree of Doctor in Biological Sciences in 1991, with Extraordinary Prize (1992). In April 1991 I obtained the post of Assistant Professor of the University and I did the postdoctoral training in the Department of Microbiology of the Technical University of Munich in 1992 and three months of stay in 1994.
