Biography
Chemical Engineering by the University of Zaragoza (September 2001) and doctor in Chemical Engineering by the same University (June 2006) with Outstanding Cum Laude unanimously. During the academic year 2006-2007 she worked as an assistant professor of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Technologies of the University of Zaragoza. From October 2007 to May 2010, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University of Denmark (Copenhagen), first contracted by the Foundation Spanish for Science and Technology (FECYT) and subsequently contracted by the Technical University. In May 2010 she joined as a postdoctoral researcher "Juan de la Cierva "to the Institute of Carbochemistry of the CSIC in which it continues as researcher
Research Interest
The interest of his research is focused on the processes of power generation at through the combustion of fossil fuels. Its two priority lines of research are: (1) study of the formation and removal of pollutants during combustion and (2) technologies for the sustainable generation of energy. Your input into this last field are aimed at facilitating the capture of the carbon dioxide generated during combustion, in order to minimize the global emissions of this bound gas to the increase of the greenhouse effect.
