Víctor M. Eguíluz

Biography

Was born in 1972 in San Sebastian, a beautiful small city in the Atlantic shore of Spain, close to the French border. My parents provided me with the appropriate environment to develop an independent, critical thinking and respect for the diversity. My curiosity about nature pushed me to enrol in the Faculty of Sciences at the University of the Basque Country. I got my degree in Physics in 1995. I decided to move to the Mediterranean shore with the hope to find my way in life. After four unforgettable years I got my Ph. D. in Physics at the University of the Balearic Islands with a thesis entitled "Complex Dynamics of Physical, Biological and Socio-economical Systems".
