Biography
Miguel Ángel Sánchez Conde is Comunidad de Madrid Fellow at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT UAM / CSIC) and the Department of Theoretical Physics, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His current research focuses mainly on the search for dark matter with gamma rays.
Research Interest
The search for dark matter with gamma rays. I am a member of the Fermi Large Area Telescope Collaboration (former coordinator of the dark matter science working group), to understand the structural properties of dark matter halos and subhalos, their formation and evolution over cosmic time, and the implications for dark matter searches. In short, my research interests include i) gamma-ray dark matter searches, ii) diffuse gamma-ray backgrounds, iii) formation/evolution of CDM halos, iv) CDM halo substructure, v) N-body cosmological simulations, vi) Large Scale Structure of the Universe
