Biography

Current Position Research Scientist, at the Institute of Management of Innovation and Knowledge (INGENIO CSIC-UPV), a joint institute of the National Research Council (CSIC) and Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) Training Industrial Engineer at the E.T.S. of Industrial Engineers of Madrid and a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia Research experience Between 1973 and 1988 has developed his research in the National Centre for Metallurgical Research (CENIM) in Madrid and during the period 1988/1990 at the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA) in Valencia. Since 1990 his professional and scientific activity has been focused around the relationship between science and industry, first as Director of Technology Transfer Center of Polytechnic University of Valencia between 1990 and 1999 and later as a researcher at the Institute of Management of Innovation and Knowledge (INGENIO CSIC-UPV).

Research Interest

The research topics in which a priority focuses are: business innovation strategies, the ability of corporate takeover, university-industry relations, national and regional systems of innovation.
