Dr. Ana Wert

Biography

Ophthalmologist specialising in paediatric ophthalmology at the Ocular Microsurgery Institute and professor on the Master’s Course in Strabismus and Paediatric Ophthalmology run by the IMO and the Faculty of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her professional practice is based on the diagnosis and treatment of ocular muscle alterations, both in children and adults, and she is a specialist in some of the most prevalent pathologies in childhood, such as amblyopia and strabismus, among others. She is a specialist in the development of vision in children and in ocular rehabilitation. During the period 2005 – 2007, she took Internships in the Paediatric Ophthalmology Unit at Vall d´Hebron University Hospital, Sant Joan de Déu Hospital, La Paz Hospital and the Strabology Unit at the Ocular Diagnosis and Treatment Centre (DYTO) with Dr Galán.
