Biography

I am currently doing my doctoral thesis on the ecology of arid and semi-arid zones under the supervision of Dr. Yolanda Pueyo Estaún. My work focuses on the study of biotic interactions between plants, especially on the role of allelopathic species, by structuring the spatial pattern of the diversity of these communities.

Research Interest

My main goals are to quantify the relative importance of allelopathy against competition and on the net balance of biotic interactions and to determine its negative effect on the growth of other species in the community and on the germination of the seed bank.
