Biography
My PhD is focused on plant-plant interactions (facilitation, competition, allelopathy) in semiarid gypsum plant communities from Ebro Valley (Spain). I am specially interested in how these interactions can affect community structure and dynamics and their implication in biodiversity conservation. One of the aims of this study is to apply this knowledge to restoration of degraded gypsum ecosystems.
Research Interest
My research interests include plant-plant and plant-environment relationships and their importance in biodiversity conservation and ecological restoration in degraded areas, such as those affected by quarrying activities, abandoned crops or wildfires.
