Gonzalo Vicente Gonzalo Vicente Lacambra

Biography

 Mr Gonzalo Vicente joined the Barcelona Institute for Global Health as General Manager in January 2011. Between 2007 and 2010, he worked as General Manager at the Networking Center for Biomedical Research in Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine (CIBER-BBN), a consortium of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation led by the Carlos III Health Institute and comprised of 27 public universities, technology centers and institutes of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).

Research Interest

 Prior to 2002 he worked in Angola in health cooperation projects with Medicus Mundi and as Technical Coordinator of the Spanish Committee for UNICEF. Mr Vicente has a law degree and a masters in expertise and research in law from the University of Zaragoza and a masters in business administration from the Continuing Education Institute (IDEC) of Pompeu Fabra University, where he lectures on the masters course in leadership and management in science.
