Biography
Miguel A. Ferrer received the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications, in 1988, and his Ph.D. degree, in 1994, each from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. He belongs to the Digital Signal Processing research group (GPDS) of the research institute for technological development and Communication Innovation (IDeTIC) at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Spain where since 1990 he has been an Associate Professor.
Research Interest
His research interests lies in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition, biometrics, mainly for security and health application
