Biography
Lucas Wiarda (Dutch) holds an Executive Master in Finance and Control from the Amsterdam Business School and a Master of Finance from the University of Amsterdam.
Research Interest
Prior to joining DSM and subsequently DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals, he held financial functions at VNU and The Nielsen Company, and worked on a voluntary basis as Program Director for the United Nations World Food Program in Bangladesh. After joining DSM Sinochem Pharmaceuticals (DSP) in 2008, Lucas performed various roles, among which Global Marketing Director and Head of the Sustainable Antibiotics Program. Lucas played a key role in establishing the Industry Roadmap on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and is a member of the AMR Industry Alliance Board. On 30 October 2017, Lucas was appointed Director for the Business Unit Drug Products (ad interim).
