Biography
Dr. Yi Guo holds a degree in Telecommunication Engineering (2004) and a PhD (2011) in Computer Science (specialty in Microelectronics). She graduated from Hefei University of Technology (HFUT, Hefei, P.R. China) with B.S degree in telecommunication engineering in 2004. In 2006, she got the M.S. degree in System-on-Chip from Royal Institute of Technology (KTH, Stockholm, Sweden). In December 2011, she got her PhD degree in Computer Science (specialty in Microelectronics) from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB, Barcelona, Spain). Her doctor thesis is related to GNSS-R missions from ICE-CSIC. After that she worked at IMB-CNM (CSIC, Barcelona, Spain) from December 2011 to contribute a project related with the Wireless Sensor Network security. In 2013, she joined in the EPFL STI IMT-NE ESPLAB (Neuchatel, Switzerland) as a Post-doc, and contributed to an Ultra Wide Band (UWB) indoor positioning project. In 2014, she came back to Spain and joined IMB-CNM (CSIC, Barcelona, Spain) again as a technique coordinator for a Smart-city Demo. Then she joined the SPCOMNAV group at UAB to simulate and analysis the High Sensitivity GNSS Receiver for Indoor/Urban Scenario. Currently she works in LEITAT Technological Centre as R&D researcher in the Smart Systems Department.
