Biography

Dr. Mager and his team have provided medical service to the community for almost 30 years, and in 3 locations. All staff are fluent in German, English and Spanish. Since Dr. Mager set up the first clinic in 1990, we have grown dramatically. Today our medical service covers the entire Lanzarote area. Genuine care is our highest mission. We strive for clinical excellence as well as delivering on a promise of the best levels of patient care. Everyone on our staff speaks German, English and Spanish, with some also speaking French, Dutch, Italian and basic Russian.   Over the years we have contracted for Lufthansa, Condor, Thomas Cook, TUI, REWE and others and have established quite a reputation as a centre for travel medicine. Our aim is always to deliver caring treatment with the utmost efficiency and we are only satisfied once you have returned home safely. We are closely networked with specialists on the island as well as in Germany. We practice telemedicine, and can include your family doctor at home, if you wish. We understand that coming to the GP can be stressful. All our staff is here to listen to your concerns, and take care of you and your health to enhance your wellbeing. Our core ideology is patient-centred at all times. We treat everyone as we would like to be treated ourselves. If the nature of your illness requires over-night admission to the local hospital or a special private clinic, we will be by your side and assist with administrative necessities, translation, etc. Our vision is to provide high quality services of modern, evidence-based medicine, fully adapted to the wishes and needs of you, the patient.
