LLORENTE & CUENCA / Partner Info / Erich de la Fuente Erich de la Fuente Partner and CEO of U.S. operations Erich de la Fuente graduated from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service with a Master of Arts in Latin American Affairs and obtained his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Latin American Studies from Florida International University. Erich is fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese and proficient in Italian and Russian. In 2001 he founded EDF Communications. As the firm’s CEO Erich has provided strategic communications and public affairs counseling to organizations operating in the U.S., Latin America, Eastern Europe and other emerging markets. EDF has developed a broad client portfolio, which includes Delta Air Lines, DHL, Siemens, Medtronic, Level 3, Honeywell Aerospace, Smiths Detection, Fortinet, Solarcentury, Travelport, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), Transparency International, World Learning, The World Bank Group, the American Bar Association, the Pan-American Development Foundation and Operation Smile, among others.
