Biography
Werner Bauer holds a diploma and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University Erlangen Nurnberg. He has received several scientific honors, among others the BioAlps Award 2011 and Honorary Senator from the Techni Member of the Board of Directors of Lonza Group Ltd (since April 2013). Member of the Board of Directors of Givaudan SA (since 2014). Member of the Supervisory Board of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA (since 2012) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bertelsmann Foundation (since 2011) cal University of Munich.
