Research Interest
Since I joined the laboratory in 2012, I have been interested in the mechanisms by which thalamic axons influence and specify the identity of different sensory areas of the neocortex. I am currently working on the role of thalamic neurons in the processes of neuroplasticity upon sensory deprivation.
