Biography
Esther Hauk joined the institute in 2006. She has previously been an associate professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona and an assistant professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Her main research interests are game theory, public economics, political economics and industrial organization. In particular, she has contributed to the literature on equilibrium refinements, on noncooperative games with partner selection, on public procurement and the study of the dynamics of corruption. Recently, she started working on the link between natural resources and democracy.
