Biography
Lídia Farré currently a Researcher JAE-DOC at the Institut d’Anàlisi Econòmica (IAE). Prior to joining the IAE she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Alicante. On June 2006, she received my Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at the European University Institute, and she got my B.A. in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Her main research interests are Labor Economics and Applied Microeconometrics. Her current work focuses on the economic implications of migration for receiving countries. She also participate in a project to detect discrimination against immigrants in the rental market. Furthermore I have some work on cultural transmission and its implications for the persistence of inequality across generations.
