Biography
Andrés Hidalgo got his degree in CC. Biological by the Autonomous University of Madrid in 1993, and doctoral in the same university in 1999 after working in control of hematopoietic adhesion, in the laboratory of Dr. Joaquín Teixidó (Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas, Madrid). In 2000, he moved to New York, where he focused on understanding the processes of migration of leukocytes and hematopoietic stem cells, as well as inflammatory processes, in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Frenette (Mount Sinai School of Medicine). After obtaining a reincorporation contract Ramón y Cajal, he joined as Junior II Researcher in the Department of Aterotrombosis, Image and Epidemiology of the CNIC in 2008.
