Biography
"Ada Cortés holds a doctorate in Classical Archeology (2009) obtained at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) under the direction of Dr. J. Guitart i Duran (Cum Laude, European Mention). The thesis was awarded with the Extraordinary Doctorate Award (UAB) and with a Honorable Mention by the Jury at Cum Laude Awards (2010). He enjoyed a FI grant for the accomplishment of the doctoral thesis granted by the Generalitat of Catalonia and has held several stays abroad to develop his research in Italy (2005 and 2006) and in England (2013-2015). Ada Cortés has worked in various national and international archaeological projects, including archaeological excavations and superficial and geophysical surveys. He has also carried out numerous study and dissemination projects on Roman archeology and architecture. The fruits of these works have produced a book, book chapters, articles in specialized journals both national and international, as well as in conferences in congresses and seminars."
