Biography
"Aleix Pons holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC-BarcelonaTech) and since 2015 he is working on a PhD thesis about transport pricing. He is author of two SCI papers on the subject. In 2017, he was a Visiting Scholar at the Economics Faculty of KU Leuven. After working as a junior transport consultant in IDOM, he joined CENIT in 2014 as a researcher in transport economics and policy. During this time, he has collaborated in multiple consultancy and research projects dealing with urban public transport policy, parking policy, road pricing and financing, internalisation of external costs, and cost-benefit analysis, among others."
