Biography
"Degree in History from the University of Barcelona (2004). Diploma in Conservation Restoration in the specialty of Archeology, by the Superior School of Conservation Restoration of Cultural Assets of Catalonia (2007). Interuniversity Master's Degree in Classical Archeology (ICAC, UAB, URV 2010), with the TFR: ""Value for a high mountain cultural landscape. The western sector of the Sierra del Cadí (Alt Urgell) "". Directed by Josep Maria Palet Martínez. After finishing the studies in conservation restoration, he enjoyed two years of scholarship (2008 and 2009) at the Center for the Restoration of Movable Property of Catalonia, for carrying out work related to various processes of conservation-restoration of cultural cultural goods, in the specialty of archaeological materials, with several collaborations with the specialty of mural painting. During these two years he was able to carry out works that embraced a wide array of materials (ceramic, metallic, palaeontological and mural painting) and periods (from paleontological to modern times).Since January 2016, Associate Predoctoral Researcher at the ICAC, in the Landscape Archeology Research Team (GIAP), directed by Josep Maria Palet. It is for this team that materials from some of its deposits have been restored, as well as a Roman-era furnace of the altimontant site of Goleró in the Serra del Cadí. Collaboration has also been established with the Protohistory team of the Western Mediterranean, led by Carme Belarte, carrying out restoration work both in the field and in the laboratory, where bronze, iron and ceramic pieces have been restored. from the deposits of Pontarró and Les Esquarterades. As a conservative restorer specializing in archaeological material, his activity focuses on safeguarding this heritage both ""in situ"" and in the laboratory, betting on the close collaboration with the archaeologists of the different teams in which they collaborate. work Therefore, he strives to give the restoration the role of auxiliary discipline of archeology, becoming a tool more in the research tasks. It is in this sense that 2015 is organized by ICAC and in collaboration with IPHES (through the SUMA project), the ""International Seminar on conservation and restoration in archeology: a tool for the research and dissemination "", of which he was one of the organizers and coordinators. Some of these works have been reflected through articles in specialized magazines, as well as in interventions in congresses and seminars."
