Biography
"Graduate in History in 2005, my interests for archeology at first found a very common departure at those times that were the field of professional archeology or rescue. This professional field, although unstable, did allow me to start in the world of archeology with a broad chronological range due to the strong random component of this aspect of archeology. Facing, however, the need for more specialized training in my field of interest, the 2007-2008 academic year I began to study the Interuniversity Master's Degree in Classical Archeology offered by three Catalan institutions: the Catalan Institute of Archeology Classical, Rovira i Virgili University and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. It was within the framework of this training that I could have some knowledge of the various specialties in which classical archeology is currently working, both nationally and internationally. During the years of the Master I had the opportunity to excavate in important deposits that help us to better understand the ancient societies of the Mediterranean environment: La Villa del Casale (Piazza Armerina, Sicily) under the direction of the university professor of archeology at the University of Rome ""La Sapienza"" Dr. Patrizio Pensabene and the Roman city of Nea Paphos in Cyprus under the direction of Dr. Dimitris Michailidis professor of archeology at the University of Cyprus. The Master's final project consisted of a joint study, but mainly focused on architecture, on the palace of the Justinian period of Qasr ibn Wardan in Syria. I am currently part of the Catalan Institute of Classical Archeology as a scholarship holder in pre-doctoral education. The direction of my thesis is shared between Dr. Joaquín Ruiz de Arbulo, Professor of Archeology at the Rovira i Virgili University and Dr. Ricardo Mar Medina, professor of archeology at the same university. My research will focus on the domestic architecture of the late imperial and late period, which at the time had been the three altimperial Hispanic capitals: Emerita Augusta, Tarraco and Corduba between the 4th and 7th centuries. The main idea is to define, through the archeology of residences,"
