Biography
"Begoña Soler Huertas is a PhD in Ancient History and Archeology from the University of Murcia since 2005. She has been pre-doctoral at the MINCYT (12001-2004), postdoctoral of the MEC / FECYT at the Università degli Studi di Roma ""La Sapienza"" (2008-2010) , and researcher hired JAE-Doc by the CSIC at the Institute of Archeology of Merida (2010-2013). Since January 2015, he is a researcher assigned to the Catalan Institute of Classical Archeology (ICAC). He has participated as a researcher in eight R & D research projects, led by the University of Murcia and the Institute of Archeology of Merida (CSIC), all of them focused on the knowledge of Roman architecture and in the study of stone materials used in the antiquity His scientific production has several articles and book chapters in prestigious publishing houses. He is editor of two monographs and author of a third, currently in the press. He has also coordinated different training, knowledge transfer and scientific culture activities at the UMU and in the IAM-CSIC. Until October 2015, he has carried out teaching as an associate professor at the University School of Tourism / Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena."
