Biography

"Biljana Bojović was born in Novi Sad, Serbia, in 1983. She received M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from FTN ( Faculty of Technical Sciences, Novi Sad, Serbia) in June 2008, according to the Computing and Control Engineering – Applied Computer Science and Informatics study programme. Her master thesis is concerning heterogeneous system integrations using BPEL (Business Process Execution Language) for service oriented architectures (SOA). In December 2006 she joined DMS Group (Novi Sad, Serbia) as an internship student and her work was mainly oriented towards Web Services and SOA technologies. From October 2008 to September 2009 she worked as a software engineer at Telvent DMS (Novi Sad, Serbia) on DMS, CIM and GIS integrations for power distribution and management system. From October to December 2007 she visited Energy Management and Power Automation department at SIEMENS (Minneapolis, Minnesota) as an internship student. In October 2009 she joined CTTC in order to pursue a PhD on Cognitive Wireless Networks, at Telematics Engineering Department of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Barcelona. Her main research interest include cognitive wireless networks and application of machine learning to the next generation mobile networks . Her interest also include self organized networks, QoS and QoE in LTE networks, LTE scheduling mechanisms, etc."
